late Chicago Blues Legend Snooky Pryor
  
  Richard “Rip Lee” Pryor is the son of the renowned blues musician Snooky Pryor. The
two recorded and toured together in the 1990s, but when his father returned to retirement, Pryor decided to focus on his
own career. After retiring from his job as a carpenter at SIU and battling cancer, Pryor returned to the music scene in
2011. He has since completed three tours of South America and one of Switzerland, as well as reconnected with the

  Rip Lee Pryor is the son of the late Chicago Blues Legend Snooky Pryor. Raised deeply
connected to the Blues tradition, he is also very much his own man musically. Nobody But Me is Rip Lee's debut recording
for Electro-Fi Records where his dad recorded from 1998 until his passing. Rip Lee has been making a real name for
himself with his solo live performances. The mixture of original and classic blues on the album showcases his
distinctive vocal, harmonica and guitar work to great advantage. On the strength of the new album and his recent
Festival performances Rip Lee Pryor is also the subject of a Feature Article in the March/April 2014 issue of Living
